Tiniyak ng Malakanyang ang patuloy na pagpapalakas ng relasyon sa pagitan ng Pilipinas at Estados Unidos sa ilalim ng bagong administrasyon ni US President Elect Joe Biden.

“On behalf of the Filipino nation, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte wishes to extend his warm congratulations to former Vice President Joseph ‘Joe’ Biden on his election as the new President of the United States of America,” sabi ni Spox Roque ngayong Linggo.

“The Philippines and the United States have long-standing bilateral relations and we are committed to further enhancing the relations with the United States under the Biden administration.”

Matatandaang nagwagi sa eleksyon si Biden matapos na masungkit ang 290 electoral votes na higit sa 270 threshold na kailangan niyang makuha laban sa 214 ni Donald Trump.
