With the non-renewal of the franchise of ABS-CBN, the network decided to let go some of their TV personalities and employees. The last day of work for the laid off workers were August 31.
Many celebrities including Judy Ann Santos, Angel Locsin, Dimples Romana and Nikki Valdez expressed their gratitude and penned a tribute for the displaced staff and workers of the network through their respective Instagram accounts.
