To which Frankie answered: “It’s really sad, but in part, it’s kind of sanay na po ako. Obviuosly that’s not an experience I wanna wish to anyone. But at the same time, I think there’s also those low moments where it can really get to you. And I think that I like to remind myself primarily na parang the amount of hurt or the amount of backlash that I get online, like the amount of negativity that I might feel online, It doesn’t compare to the pain and the hurt that are felt by millions of others who I’m trying to fight for. That comes with the causes.”

“It might hurt me for now. it’s a temporary kind of hurt like it might linger pa for a little bit, but it doesn’t compare eh because when you try to make lasting change, you have to think about everybody else. There’s a certain degree of empathy there that allows you to remove yourself from the negativity in the situation and to just focus on what you’re trying to fight for and to focus on what you believe in.

I guess I’m really passionate about the things that I fight for and so even when I kinda feel down sometimes, or when I might feel not so happy, not so great. It really gets to be a lot sometimes, you can’t deny that But I think at the end of the day, it sort of like I’m not doing it for myself. You know, you’re not doing it for self gratification you’re doing it for others and to make sure that others get their voice amplified.” she added.
